Hello new families!
We are excited to meet you and your students this summer and fall.
Here are a few tips as you prepare for the adventure that is Central High School.
- Familiarize yourself with the Central High School Website — it includes useful information such as policies, contact info, calendars, sports info, etc. and The Daily Bulletin (especially helpful once the school year begins)
- Attend New Student Summer Orientation August 19-22 — This is an excellent time to ask ALL of the questions you have. Teachers, staff, administration, students and veteran parents will be on hand to answer questions and explain school policies and procedures.
- Check the Central Home and School Association website for answers to many of your questions — We will be doing our best to collect all the questions and answers in one place and post them for your. Please check the site often.
- Stay calm and don’t sweat the small stuff — High school can feel overwhelming and scary, but you and your child will figure it out. Encourage your children to advocate for themselves and ask their own questions. Don’t do it all for them! They will be better for it.
