On April 28, Central HSA hosted its Spring clean up. Many people who came out to the school, pulled weeds, collected trash, put down mulch and planted flowers — some students came without their parents, and some parents came without their students. And the main thing that happened by 5 pm that day, was that the campus looked beautiful.
We know this because of an email received from a passerby, “My son is a student at LaSalle University. We want to let you know how much we appreciated the clean up at your school. The grounds look beautiful! It’s now a pleasure to drive by your school. The flowers and plants are so pretty. We now look forward to driving by your school. Thank you so much for making my day. Keep up the good work. It looks great!”
In addition, during the clean-up, another random stranger drove by, saw the volunteers working, and returned with a huge box of soft pretzels, grateful for our clean up!
See for yourselves how refreshed the CHS campus looked, after being rejuvenated by such a great group of volunteers. Thank you to everyone who made it out.
