Volunteers Needed!

The Home & School Association is powered by parents and community members committed to sharing their strengths and a little bit of their time to make a big impact! We invite 287 parents to fill one of the roles below:

287 Parent Representative (2 positions)

Be in the know! Class parent reps interface with the class sponsor to stay up to date with important information regarding the class such as upcoming deadlines and special events. The parent reps then share this information to the greater community through the listserv and provide a report during the monthly HSA meetings. This role can be fulfilled entirely virtually and takes about 2-3 hours of commitment per month mostly because of the monthly HSA meeting. It’s a great way to connect with the class sponsor and stay informed about class activities.

Fundraising Chair

Fundraising is key to the HSA’s ability to support the school! We are looking for someone excited to help the success of our fundraising efforts. Main responsibilities include sharing fundraising campaigns, asking for donations, preparing donation letters, attending HSA Exec and General meetings, and providing oversight for the Spring Auction. Don’t worry, you will have help! We have experienced parents that organize the Spring Auction and the Exec team supports in all fundraising activities including Spiritwear sales. Time commitment is about 3-6 hours a month depending on the time of the year.

Hospitality Chair

Everything is better with food! Our hospitality chair ensures that HSA sponsored events like teacher appreciation meals and the Freshmen tea have refreshments and volunteers to support the event. The Hospitality chair attends HSA exec meetings and communicates with school admin to plan for events throughout the year. Time commitment about 2-4 hours per month.
